Where is ZUIDYARD?
ZUIDYARD is on the Maashaven in Rotterdam-Zuid, at Doklaan 40, 3081 AD Rotterdam. It is easy to reach by bike, car, metro (Maashaven station) or water taxi. There is plenty of parking on our own grounds: €4 per hour or €22 per day, the first 15 minutes free.
What can you do in Rotterdam with kids?
At ZUIDYARD children aged 0 to 12 can play at Spelen bij Beelen, climb indoors at Gigi's Klim World (from 130 cm), explore Noah's Ark and see the city from the Beelen Eye Ferris wheel.
Is there a boat tour in Rotterdam from ZUIDYARD?
From November 2026. ZUIDYARD Cruise will then run boat tours of about 75 minutes through Rotterdam, boarding at ZUIDYARD on the Doklaan. Tickets are already on presale at zuidyardcruise.nl.
What can you do in Rotterdam when it rains?
Gigi's Klim World is a fully indoor climbing park (from 130 cm), the sandpit, roller rink and Verkeersstad Harvey at Spelen bij Beelen are covered, Noah's Ark and PIER40 are indoors, and the Beelen Eye has enclosed cabins, although it may close in strong wind.
When is ZUIDYARD open?
Spelen bij Beelen, the Beelen Eye and Noah's Ark are open Tuesday to Saturday 11:00–18:00 and Sunday 13:00–18:00; PIER40 stays open until 20:00. Gigi's Klim World is open Wednesday, Friday and Sunday 13:00–17:00 and Saturday 11:00–17:00.
Is there a Ferris wheel in Rotterdam?
Yes. The Beelen Eye is a 57-metre Ferris wheel at ZUIDYARD on the Maashaven, Doklaan 40 in Rotterdam-Zuid, and the tallest Ferris wheel in Rotterdam. Tickets cost €10 per person, online or at PIER40. Open Tuesday to Saturday 11:00–18:00 and Sunday 13:00–18:00.
