Saturday at Zuidyard, from 11:00 to 20:00

On Saturday everything is open, Gigi’s Klim World too. This is how it fits into one day.

  1. 11:00 · Views or play

    On Saturday Spelen bij Beelen, the Beelen Eye and Noah’s Ark open at 11:00, and so does Gigi’s Klim World. Start with a ride in the Beelen Eye to see where you are, or at the playground with children.

  2. Lunch at PIER40

    Have lunch by the water at PIER40, opposite Noah’s Ark. Then go aboard the Ark; allow about an hour and a half.

  3. Afternoon: climbing

    Gigi’s Klim World is open on Saturday from 11:00 to 17:00. Book a time slot online in advance; climbing is from 130 cm.

  4. Until 20:00 · Drinks or dinner

    The attractions close at 18:00, PIER40 at 20:00. End Saturday with drinks or dinner on the river Maas.

Sunday at Zuidyard, from 13:00

  1. 13:00 · A slow start

    On Sunday everything opens at 13:00: Spelen bij Beelen, the Beelen Eye, Noah’s Ark, PIER40 and Gigi’s Klim World. So the morning is yours.

  2. What you missed on Saturday

    On Sunday, do what did not fit in on Saturday. Gigi’s Klim World is open on Sunday from 13:00 to 17:00, the other attractions until 18:00.

  3. From November 2026: a boat tour

    From November 2026 ZUIDYARD Cruise sails from Zuidyard. A boat tour of about 75 minutes past the city, the harbour and the skyline is then a good way to end the weekend.

What to do at Zuidyard on a weekend in Rotterdam

All on one site on the Maashaven: the 57-metre Beelen Eye Ferris wheel (€10), Noah’s Ark, a 70-metre wooden ship (€2), the waterfront restaurant PIER40, the Spelen bij Beelen play harbour for children aged 0 to 12 (€10) and the Gigi’s Klim World indoor climbing park from 130 cm (€25, includes Spelen bij Beelen). Each attraction has its own ticket.

If your weekend falls in the school holidays, Spelen bij Beelen is open seven days a week. Outside the holidays the attractions are closed on Monday, so a long weekend is best planned from Friday to Sunday.

PIER40 is Zuidyard’s restaurant and bar on the river Maas, for coffee, lunch, drinks and dinner. Open on Saturday from 11:00 to 20:00 and on Sunday from 13:00 to 20:00; book via info@pier40.nl.

For Gigi’s Klim World you book a time slot online in advance. Beelen Eye tickets are sold online or on site at PIER40. Spelen bij Beelen has no time slots. Each attraction at Zuidyard has its own ticket.
