1. Who are we?

ZUIDYARD at Doklaan 40, 3081 AD Rotterdam, is responsible for processing personal data on this website, zuidyard.com. The attractions at ZUIDYARD, such as Spelen bij Beelen, Gigi’s Klim World and the Beelen Eye, each have their own website with their own privacy policy.

2. What data do we process?

We only process data you give us yourself or that is needed to run this website:

• your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter;
• your name, email address and the content of your message, if you email us or apply for a job;
• technical data needed to show the website, such as your IP address and browser type.

3. What do we use your data for?

We use your data to send you the newsletter, answer your questions and applications, and keep the website working safely. We do not use it for other purposes without your consent.

We process data based on your consent (newsletter) or because of our legitimate interest in a secure website and in answering your questions.

4. Who do we share data with?

We never sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us provide this website, and only as far as needed:

• Netlify, our hosting provider, which serves the website and stores newsletter sign-ups;
• Google Fonts, which loads the typefaces of this website.

You buy tickets in each attraction’s own ticket shop. The terms and privacy policy of that ticket shop apply there.

5. How long do we keep data?

We keep data no longer than needed for the purpose we received it for, unless the law requires longer. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.

6. Cookies

This website sets no cookies for statistics, advertising or social media and uses no trackers. That is why we do not ask for cookie consent. Your language choice (Dutch, English or German) is only stored in your own browser.

To load the typefaces your browser connects to Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. Sites we link to, such as the ticket shops, Google Maps or social media, may use their own cookies under their own policy.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. The website always uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, restrict processing, object, and withdraw your consent. Email us at event@zuidyard.nl to do so.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this privacy policy when our website, services or the law change. The latest version is always on this page.
